Our primary goal on the second floor was to create two separate bathrooms - one for kids, one for guests - out of the existing bathroom and adjoining spaces. The existing second floor bathroom had an awkward, inefficient layout, and lots of under-utilized space surrounding it. Unfinished, open space surrounding new AC ductwork also needed to be addressed, to restore privacy and close in the bathroom from the landing. The new kids bath is a generous size and includes a large double vanity with tall linen storage, a tub-shower combination, and ample lighting. An interior window borrows light from the guest bathroom on the other side of the wall, and cheerful yet classic finishes create an aesthetic that will grow with the kids over time.
