The owners of this kitchen both have culinary hobbies. She makes artisan chocolates, and he smokes large batches of meats and cheeses. Their needs were specific: counter-space large enough to spread out, aisles wide enough for multiple cooks, designated areas to store spices and specialty equipment, extra refrigerator space, two ovens, and space for their large family to gather. They were eager for a light, open workspace that would connect to the rest of the home and allow their hobbies to flourish.
