The dimly lit kitchen in this home had outlived its usefulness both in form and function. The homeowners wanted a bright and fresh kitchen that honored the mid-century roots of the house.
New custom cabinetry provides all the modern conveniences from the ultra-functional corner storage to the dish towel pull-out. A breakfast area placed outside of the kitchen keeps the work aisles free from traffic. The spring green color on the cabinetry provides a colorful foundation for the white quartz counter and rift oak accents.
The additions of recessed ceiling lights, undercabinet lighting and a petal dining room sheds light on this new classic, mid-century kitchen.
